First Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC Hits PC, PlayStation 3 in Early May
by Chris Faylor, Apr 08, 2010 2:45pm PDTAfter roughly a month of Xbox 360 exclusivity, the five multiplayer maps of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Stimulus Package--its first downloadable content pack--will be available to PC owners worldwide come May 4, publisher Activision has announced.
As for PlayStation 3, MW2 owners in North America get the multiplayer add-on the same day. Meanwhile, those in Australia and the European Union need to wait until May 5.
No word yet as to if the PC and PlayStation 3 DLC will carry the $15 price point of the Xbox 360 release, though given the pack's sales success, it seems likely. Developer Infinity Ward is currently working on a second add-on for the game, which will again premiere first on Xbox 360 before eventually making its way to the other platforms.
