Bejeweled Facebook Game 'Blitz' Goes Standalone
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 08, 2010 6:30am PDTPopCap's sixty-second Facebook version of its block-matching puzzler Bejeweled has been re-spun off into its own standalone PC game, with a 56MB demo available on FileShack.
Available now from PopCap for $19.95, Blitz condenses all the fun of Bejeweled into sixty-second rounds with power-ups that can be either bought or earned in-game. The game can also connect to Facebook, to continue competitions and spamming their friends' feeds with high score notifications.
