If you aren't big on swords and sorcery in your RPGs, SEGA's Resonance of Fate features copious amounts of diving and/or firing guns in mid-air, as seen in this video explaining the game's rather complex combat system.

Thanks, Destructoid.

I have this game been playing a bit here and there, need to spend more time to give a verdict but it has potential that is for sure the combat is tricky to get used to right out of the case.

Actually I am gona take what this video said and try it out and see if its easier LOL.

Then again it probably good idea if I read the manual... then again we all know our views on manuals.

It'll seem a little overwhelming at first, but it's not that bad. The battle system isn't as nearly as complicated as every one suggests once you can get to tutorial stuff in the arena. You'll be fine after you get how a few of the fights work. Almost everything else you pick up as you go along, since there are enemies that require tactics like "kiting" and things like that.

The physical manual isn't much help unfortunately, but the in game one (press pause) is very useful and can viewed almost anywhere in game. Too bad the arena tutorial wasn't as good. :(

I'm about halfway through the game and the video does a pretty good job of explaining things.

Cool, thanks for the heads up.

Ya no I agree so far what I have played, its not difficult the gameplay I should of said rather that it is unconventional and and none standard and when you commence your first fight you will probably die since you really have to set up the fight in order for it to flow.

Then again I went from FFXIII to this so I suppose the not being able to move made me juts stay there and try too shoot the enemies LOL.

When all I had to do was move around any where I wanted and plan out my strategy, actually this was something I bitched about in FFXIII so I guess I got exactly what I wanted.

Just gota get use to it, I am sure it will be fine.

BTW what is the loot like, looks pretty hardcore, is there just weapon upgrades or also armor, I could only find different costumes no armor, then again I am pretty early in the game.

Also whats the spells like if any?
