Microsoft Reveals Fan-Voted XBLA Awards for 2009

Microsoft has revealed the winners of the third-annual Xbox Live Arcade Awards, which are determined by Xbox Live community votes. Best Overall Arcade Game went to Trials HD.

Best Overall Arcade Game: Trials HD (Microsoft)
Best Original Game: 'Splosion Man (Xbox LIVE Arcade)
Best Family Game: Hasbro Family Game Night (Electronic Arts)
Best Co-Operative Multiplayer: Battlefield 1943 (Electronic Arts)
Best Competitive Multiplayer: Battlefield 1943 (Electronic Arts)
Best Solo Game: Shadow Complex (Chair Entertainment/Microsoft Corp.)
Best Innovation: Trials HD (Microsoft)
Best Graphics: Shadow Complex (Chair Entertainment/Microsoft Corp.)
Best Classic/Remake: Banjo-Tooie (Microsoft Game Studios)

I probably played more Trials, Splosion man, and Shadow Complex than I did retail games last year. I do like Trials the best, but I can see where some people wouldn't like how hard it can be. I just need to beat one extreme level now . . .
