3
TouchArcade brings word that Cave's ESPGALUDA II, a "bullet-hell" shmup, will be coming to the iPhone 3GS and the third-generation iPod Touch. The game is expected to go live on April 10 for $4.99.

If you're unsure what a "bullet-hell" shmup is, please view the following trailer:

The iPhone versions will support two modes of play as well as OpenFeint support for achievements and leaderboards. Only 3GS and late-gen Touches are supported due to the graphical effects being used.

I love these games but I'm not sure how this is going to work. Dual virtual sticks on the tiny screen? Because Tilt To Live has proven to me there's no way the accelerometer is good enough to handle controls in a bullet hell shmup.

only one stick for Espgaluda, I assume Autofire is on. Looking at the hands on video it looks pretty precise.

Nice. I hope this sells well enough for an iPad port, the extra screen size and resolution would really help.
