iPad Launch Games, Prices and Discussion

In anticipation of the iPad's release in the United States on April 3--that's tomorrow--various iPad-enhanced applications and games have begun to pop up in iTunes.

Thus far, well over a hundred games are already available, with prices ranging from free to $14.99, with. That's a lot to dig through, so we've scoured the various listings and compiled a list of games that caught our eye, including Civilization Revolution, Duke Nukem 3D SE, Telltale's Sam & Max, Plants vs. Zombies HD, and, yes, Tetris.

Of course, you don't need to buy any of the iPad-specific versions--iPhone and iPod touch apps are compatible with iPad, and some, like Metal Gear Solid Touch, deliver iPad enhancements as a free update to the iPhone release--but if you want to take advantage of the hardware without resorting to windowed mode or pixel-doubling, here you go:
