Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition Announced
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 02, 2010 5:40am PDTBlood Bowl developer Cyanide Studio has announced an expanded 'Legendary Edition' of its violent sports strategy title based upon the Games Workshop tabletop game.
The Legendary Edition adds a 'Story Mode,' casting players as a freelance coach who will "have to lead several famous teams and take up many challenges through a story revealing the origins of Blood Bowl, the Old World and its many races."
A whopping dozen new playable races--including Undead, Amazons and Ogres--will take to the field, playing in a handful new grounds from snowy stadiums to crypts. There's also a tutorial and tweaks to the rules to reflect the latest tabletop rule book.
Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition is slated for release on PC in the fourth quarter of 2010.
