by Brian Leahy, Mar 30, 2010 5:00pm PDTToday, we have details on Blacklight: Tango Down. A few weeks ago, we checked out Sniper: Ghost Warrior. The buzz word naming scheme doesn't really work if you apply it to sports games.
Would you play any of these games?
- Hockey: Hat Trick: Two-Line Pass
- Football: Unnecessary Roughness: Free Safety
- Racing: Cars: Time Trials
- Baseball: Knuckleball: Relief Pitcher
- Boxing: Haymaker: The Punch

i have this shitty nvidia Geforce 310 card i yanked from a dell computer that i'd like to use on a backup system here at home. when i try to download standard geforce drivers it tells me "no driver found for the device". i'm ssuming this is because it's an OEM card and i need the dell drivers, but the ones that came with it on the CD are for win 7 64bit and i'm installing on a 32bit XP machine so obviously they won't install.
any way around this? some kind of generic drivers? or is there a way to get the dell drivers in a X86 flavor?
thanks!

It is still awesome.
So a piece of code that goes out to the NAS over HTTP gets the file via the WebClient.DownloadData function. The byte array is filled and then sent to the user via a response.binarywrite call.
On my development copy pointed to the Production NAS and Production SQL Server it works correctly and downloads the file. However, when that same code is pushed out to Production all I get is what looks to be an encrypted file of the same file size as the original.
The only difference I can find between my development version and the Production version is that the Production Web Server is over HTTPS. Is there something extra I have to do for streaming files back to the user over HTTPS? I've spent the last 6 or so hours trying different variations of the code to no avail. I'm not sure how long the code hasn't worked, but it could have been months.

We haven't had one of these in a few days. I am itching to play another turn.

I'll have to look for that high-res texture/model pack that people were talking about; what's the name of it?

The conclusion to Necrosha is hitting stands tomorrow. It's the greatest story but I want it to come out already to wrap this one up so we can see The Second Coming arc following.

- Is there a way to enable the mini-map in Hardcore mode?
- How can I turn off kick-idle (most of us go outside to smoke to come back in to being kicked :/)
- Is it possible to set up a map rotation of both Conquest and Rush? Ive played on servers like this but I can't figure it out.
Also might be helpful to know I'm using Battlefield Bad Company 2 CC.
Thanks.

This first video is fantastic. Some great steampunk imagery.
These are so much better than the few from GH5 in terms to note tracking. Even the "hardest" (a 5 demon horns for Wait Until Tomorrow is still doable on lead expert guitar if you can do most other RB experts)

This is the first I've heard of the game; it's just a Wii port of First to Fight but with shitty motion controls tacked on. FtF was one of those tactical first person shooters that had some nice ideas and a few really neat missions, but was bogged down by some really awful missions, encounters, and AI. I never even beat the game, actually. One of these days I'll have to go back and give it another go to finish it off (I was pretty close to the end, IIRC).
~1mo after release and it's already down to $23, so hopefully it winds up as a $9 lightning deal or something sometime soon. Lord knows I have a cap on impulse Wii buys.
Why the random kicking from BFBC2 servers? I'm clearly a Shacker (same name as I use here)...so what gives?
