Conduit 2 Revealed in New Nintendo Power

3
The newest issue of Nintendo Power has an 8-page feature on High Voltage's previously unannounced Conduit 2, which GoNintendo has confirmed.

The original game, a Wii exclusive published by SEGA, was released on June 23, 2009 to average reviews and mediocre sales. It was rumored that High Voltage would port The Conduit to the Xbox 360 and/or PlayStation 3, but that never happened.

The feature talks about character classes and player upgrades as well as expanded multiplayer and co-operative options.

With the reveal of Conduit 2 in Nintendo Power, Wii exclusivity is still likely. The issue should be on the way to subscribers and magazine stands now. SEGA will be publishing the sequel, with more details, including an official announcement, likely imminent.

I wonder if they are going to do a Wii version, then port to the PS3 once the new controllers are available. In fact, I thought a lot of developers might try porting Wii -> PS3

I would imagine the PS3 is a bit more difficult to develop for.

I don't know why they'd bother, the conduit made very little use of motion controls other than the obvious Wiimote aiming.

Hoping this sequel is a significant improvement on the original. It had all the right elements, great graphics engine, responsive controls etc, but the single player campaign was tedious in the extreme, very repetitive, and the plot was lame. Multiplayer was a lot of fun though.
