Shack PSA: Mass Effect 2 $20 Off at Amazon
by Chris Faylor, Mar 30, 2010 11:00am PDTBioWare's sci-fi shooter-RPG Mass Effect 2 is today's "Amazon.com Video Games Deal of the Day," with the online retailer knocking roughly a third off the game's asking price.
The Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 2 can be had for $39.49 (34% off the usual asking price of $59.99) while Mass Effect 2 PC is $29.49 (41% off the $49.99 list price) and Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition PC is $37.99 (37% off the usual $59.99).
As implied by the part where these discounts are "Amazon.com Video Games Deal of the Day," they're only valid for the day and only while supplies last, so act fast.

I mostly buy XBLA games at more reasonable priced entry points for likely more playtime.
I wouldn't be surprised that I spent more time playing Battlefield 1943, geometry wars 2, castle crashers and NHL 3v3 each than mass effect 1.
Direct download games at 30$ are silly also when you can get them from the store used at 10-15$. I hate to encourage used games, but there needs to be a steam-sized drop in direct download prices.
