Skate 3 Demo Hitting April 15 for PS3 and Xbox 360

Like the two games before it, Skate 3 will be getting a playable demo for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ahead of its full release. Joystiq spotted cards promising the demo at PAX East 2010.

The skateboarding series from Electronic Arts emphasizes realism over arcade action. Skate 3 will put more of the focus on skating co-operatively, online and offline, as well as make improvements to the game's content creation tools.

Gamers will be able to play Skate 3 in demo form on April 15. The full game will be released on May 11. There are no details on what the demo will contain, but hopefully it will include some amount of multiplayer or skate park creation.

Is there anything better in Skate 3 than Skate 2?

Did they at least keep girls as playable characters?

I haven't been following too closely but there is a mode that limits the skater abilities to something more realistic, create a park, and an online focus. I did not find Skate 2 a very large jump over skate 1 myself, there were new features but the city and parks were not nearly as good.

"Super realism mode." Ok, I like that.
