Enslaved Screenshots: The Overgrown World

A few new screenshots and some assorted artwork from Enslaved: Odyssey to the West have arrived from publisher Namco Bandai, offering a fresh glimpse at the "tactical action-adventure" currently in the works at Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory.

Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Enslaved puts players in the role of Monkey, a muscular brute that find himself literally enslaved by Trip--a computer-controlled companion that slaps a hacked "slave headband" on Monkey--after the duo escape from a slave ship.

Coming to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360--Heavenly Sword was a PlayStation 3 exclusive--Enslaved is currently slated to hit the two platforms sometime this fall.

The enemies look pretty generic/boring/unfitting, otherwise I like the setting.

  If you mean that one big black robot, then I agree. It's a pretty poor design -- not iconic at all.
