BioWare Unveils Bazaar Contest / Auction Site
by Chris Faylor, Mar 29, 2010 2:40pm PDTThe mysterious countdown that recently appeared on a number of BioWare sites has come to a close, revealing "a week long series of online auctions featuring over 400 prizes" the Dragon Age and Mass Effect developer calls the BioWare Bazaar.
The move is meant to "show our appreciation of fan support over the last 15 years," with bidding "tokens" acquired through various challenges. The auctions kick off April 5 and conclude April 10. Bids on each item will be open for about 15 minutes.
Registering copies of Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, and Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening on the BioWare Social Network are among the various ways to earn tokens, along with creating and uploading a character through the standalone Dragon Age: Origins character creator, winning Twitter contests, and so on.
"This Contest is only open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia with the exception of residents of Florida and New York, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry," notes BioWare in the official rules.

Some companies will ship Worldwide and outside of that, there is eBay. Funny how it can be sent via smaller companies and individuals, but these larger companies seem to lack the resources and/or know-how to send parcels outside of The States. Oh well...
