New Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter Screens; 'Extremely Generous' SSHD Demo Coming to Steam
by Jeff Mattas, Mar 26, 2010 3:40pm PDTHot on the heels of their downloadable high-def remake of Serious Sam: The First Encounter, developer Croteam and publisher Digital Devolver announced back in November of last year that they also planned to give the HD-remake treatment to the first-person-shooter's sequel. Today, Digital Devolver has released some shiny new screens to tease Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, the obviously-titled sequel's remake.
In related news, Devolver Digital recently tweeted that an "extremely generous" Serious Sam HD demo will be making its way onto digi-distribution outlet Steam "in a few weeks." There's no official word yet as to what the "extremely generous" demo will entail, and the sequel's pricing and release date have yet to be disclosed.
Like Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, 'The Second Encounter' is expected to be available for PC and Xbox 360 upon release, with a PlayStation 3 version possible.
