by Brian Leahy, Mar 26, 2010 4:20pm PDTKotaku reports that a full sequel to Midway's arcade classic Hydro Thunder will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade this summer from developer Vector Unit.
Vector Unit was founded by Ralf Knoesel and Matt Small who both worked on Blood Wake, a boat combat game released in 2001 with the launch of the original Xbox. Here is Hydro Thunder Hurricane's first trailer:
According to Kotaku, the game will feature "eight new 'theme park' levels and new game modes, including Ring Master, 'a series of slalom-style challenges with progressive difficulties' and the Gauntlet, 'an explosive new take on time trial'." The game will also support four-player, splitscreen play.
