Morning Discussion

Hello everyone. My name is Alice and I am a compulsive quick-saver.

Nineteen hours into my latest play of Deus Ex, I have 1,614 saves. While it might look like I have a serious problem, I only ever load saves after I die or quit the game so I have it under control, right? I do, don't I? Of course I do. I simply obsessively need to quick-save whenever I move forward more than two steps or do anything at all. That's fine. Everyone does that, I'm sure. I've been doing this for fifteen years now and I'm not about to stop simply because the world decides I have problem. Maybe you have the problem, world? I'm not using a $200 mouse either and there are no fluorescent lights in my computer--is that all right with you? You think you're so great...

I'm sorry, I just get so frustrated. I want to stop. I need to stop. I will stop.

Thank you.

I thought I was bad when I completed STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl recently and made 374 saves. You should get an achievement for >1,600 Alice!

I had about 150 or so. 300 is a lot.

I hammered that Quick-Save button at LEAST 3000 times through all 3 games... easily...

Every 5 minutes at least. Not so much cause I sucked and wanted to reload all the time.
But the original Stalker was unstable as shit.... and I got into the habit.
