ZEN Unveils Planet MiniGolf
by Chris Faylor, Mar 24, 2010 2:20pm PDTZEN Pinball maker ZEN Studios today pulled the wraps off its next release, Planet MiniGolf, due to hit PlayStation 3 in downloadable form sometime this spring.
The company says that it is "applying its acclaimed ball physics engine used in top-selling ZEN Pinball to deliver the best golf experience on PlayStation."
Over 140 different holes will be offered across the game's single-player campaign and multiplayer modes, along with the ability to create and share your own courses online.
In addition to traditional controls, Planet MiniGolf will join Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 in support use of the upcoming PlayStation Move controller for motion-based golfing.
"Planet MiniGolf gives casual players and golfing aficionados alike everything they could ask for in a golf game, with wacky courses, character customization, custom course builder and global competitions," ZEN managing director Zsolt Kigyossy noted in today's announcement. No word on price or an exact release date, but we'll keep you updated.
