Charging an extra $15$ for 5 maps (two of which are recycled from COD1) coupled to the worst match-finding services (IW NET) I have ever experianced? Not a chance.
Why would I pay alot extra for a game that takes forever to find an actual game I can connect to, suffers from constant disconnects both within the game and lobby and for 9v9 matches.
I'll take BFBC2 thank you kindly. Stable, more players, dedicated servers, and frankly more fun, and just wait when BF3 comes. You guys better had been have something revolutionary because I suspect if BFBC02 is any indication BF3 is going to take the MPFPS genre to a whole new level .
MW2 will be the last COD game I buy, barring a total change in the current design.

Bailout and Storm look like they're going to be awful in terms of actual gameplay and how the match will go on. Alright, maybe not so much Storm but the impression from the previews are that they're going to be freaking huge with multiple levels (Bailout in particular) and the open areas vs. corridors.
Salvage looks pretty good. Like a snowy Rust or Scrapyard. Simple, tight all around... looks alright.
When I was actually playing MW2 before it became a horrid mess of hackers (yes, I bought it on PC) the maps I found to be the "funnest" were usually the smaller ones. Highrise, Scrapyard, Rust, and that one whose name I always forget which has the playground. I'm getting a 'Estate' vibe from Bailout which is easily, IMO, the most awful map in MW2 and probably one of the worst I've ever played in any FPS.
And that's probably going to be the closest I'll ever get to these maps since no way in fuck am I paying 15 fucking dollars for only 3 maps and 2 recycled ones from a far superior game.

It's hardly surprising these maps are just for 360. That's the platform this game was made for.
But they want $15 for two recycled maps and three more that (apart from some art design that looks pretty good the first time you see it) are just not that inspired. One of them doesn't even have any vertical movement, and this is supposed to make it interesting?
Now you pay for the same old same old, hell EA wants you to pay THEM to test their products. I miss the days when PC gaming was still small and run by independent companies and not driven by the shareholders..
capitalism will be the end of all that is good.. it taints EVERYTHING it touches sad, very sad

Both of these locations should be present in this over priced map pack.
Bailout: Everyone knifes or goes Rangers akimbo.
Salvage: Everyone noob tubes with Danger Close.
Storm: Everyone glitches to snipe from inaccessible rooftops.
This game is fun as hell with the right people, but the gameplay balance is so broken it's predictably frustrating with random strangers. Fuck it, I think I'd rather pay Activision $15 to fix that shit instead of putting up with the same old problems on new maps.

I've been listening to Idle Thumbs 23 ("At the Mountains of Money"), and minute 58 has a good email on the value of lackluster DLC. I don't have time now, but this part of the podcast is interesting in the context of this DLC, the Bioshock 2 DLC, etc.
Oh, and MW2 royalties are allegedly due to be paid out by April 1. I'll be watching the headlines next Thursday.
Wasn't it the "Exclusive Access" code for it?
Anyways, moved on...
BFBC2 is already out.
This is just a sad POS. Just like MW2.
...oh, wait...
