Shack PSA: Fallout 3 DLC 50% Off on Xbox Live
Of course, a few restrictions apply. For starters, the discounts are only valid on Xbox 360--PC and PlayStation 3 owners are out of luck--and you need to have either bought or redeemed an Xbox Live Gold membership to get the discounted price. Sorry, Silver.
Once you're logged in as Gold, you should see the following prices until March 29:
- Operation: Anchorage - 400 Microsoft Points / $5
- The Pitt - 400 Microsoft Points / $5
- Broken Steel - 400 Microsoft Points / $5
- Point Lookout - 400 Microsoft Points / $5
- Mothership Zeta - 400 Microsoft Points / $5
Now, as for which ones are worth it, I'm partial to Broken Steel and Point Lookout myself--Steel for raising the level cap and opening the world back up after the RPG's ending, Lookout for its sizeable chunk of new land--but that's just one opinion...

Operation: Anchorage is worth it because of a glitch that lets you pull all the gear you get from the simulation back into the Wasteland -- I now have some weapons and armor that never, ever degrade or need repair.
The Pitt isn't really worth it. It's a long, tedious story with no happy ending. I only played it because I loved the fuck out of FO3.
Mothership Zeta is just as fun, if not better than, Point Lookout. I played FO3 mostly because of the sci fi angle, and this add-on really plays that up. It also has a fun and tense finale that is hard to find with other quests in the game. Plus you get access to a fuckton of alien weaponry (like the Alien Disintegrator) which does 100+ damage per shot. You can also pick up the Xenotech Expert perk, which gives you a +20% damage increase with alien weaponry.
I otherwise agree with the recommendations for Broken Steel (absolutely required--increased level cap and the perks you can get from leveling up are insane not to get) and Point Lookout (huge and fun add-on).-

Yeah, but everyone was a dick or a manipulative dick. And the largest part of the gameplay was running around weaponless/armorless trying to find 100 steel ingots. After the ingots were done, I finished it in about 60-90 minutes.
Seriously, the fighting in the pit was some of the worst in the game; with the Grim Reaper's Sprint perk, the Better Criticals perk, the Black Widow perk, the Bloody Mess perk, 100 points in Energy Weapons, A3-21's Plasma Rifle, and Tesla Power Armor, I was able to one-shot every person I fought. Nevermind the 250+ stimpaks, 100+ RadAways and 20,000 caps I had to ensure my health.
The fighting in The Pitt was no better. People with hunting rifles against a Power Armored super soldier just made it a joke. The rednecks wearing overalls in Point Lookout had more HP and more powerful weapons (shotguns doing 80+ dmg per shot) than the slavers in The Pitt.
