Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Screenshots: Loop-the-Loop
by Alice O'Connor, Mar 19, 2010 5:40am PDTNew Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 screenshots of Splash Hill Zone show exactly what one would expect in the first zone of a side-on Sonic game--brown chequered earth, bright green grass, leaping robotic piranha and running upside-down. Bliss.
Of course it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing, which is why Sega provides the music from Splash Hill Zone Act 1 in handy MP3 format for your listening pleasure.
Co-developed by Sonic Team and Sonic Rush dev Dimps, Sonic 4 will be released episodically though Sega has said that "the best way to view it is as a first part in a much larger adventure" similar to how Sonic 3 was continued by Sonic & Knuckles.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is slated for a downloadable release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and a further unrevealed platform this Summer. No price is yet known.

my pants are warm and wet now.
I hope they do not have his feet smoking. That shit was stupid.
The music is sounding pretty good. Give me some icecap zone, or greenhill zone. Seriously, use the old sounds, not new stuff.
I'll buy every one of these if they are good.

Regardless, best of luck for this first episode. I still don't have my hopes up for it like most of the "abused spouse" Sonic community (the sane part of it, anyways).
If it isn't terrible I'm picking it up on the day of release.
