With the first full-fledged expansion for Dragon Age: Origins hitting North American today, digital distributor Steam has commemorated the occasion with a "Midweek Madness" sale on not the expansion, but the core RPG itself.

Both Dragon Age: Origins PC and Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition PC have been marked down by 33%--making then $33.49 and $43.54, respectively--with the prices good until 4 PM PST on Thursday, March 18.

I told myself I'd buy this game during the first big sale, but there is still so much to play and do that I wouldn't be able to give an epic RPG like this the attention it requires.

Anyone who's weary about this Expansion ... I'm 5 hours in and it's simply Awesome! Bioware doesn't disappoint. The new party banter is hilarious!!
