Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Launch Trailer

To commemorate the arrival of the first full-fledged expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins, developer BioWare has passed along one last tantalizing trailer.

Priced at $39.99 and requiring a copy of the original, the lengthily titled RPG expansion--officially "Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening"--is now available at North American shops in PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 form. A downloadable version is also available on the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Marketplace in exchange for 3200 Microsoft Points / $40 and will soon be available through the PlayStation 3's PlayStation Store.

As for Europe, Awakening hits PC and Xbox 360 in retail form on Friday, March 19--the same day that downloadable Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 copies hit the region.

How exactly does this tie into the original game? Are you a new character or are you the same? If the same, what happens if you picked the ending where your character dies?

Eurogamer has a fantastic review for Awakening, by the way. Apparently a good solid 25 hours of gameplay and new content.
