After years on the bench, NBA Jam is finally making a comeback, and the journey starts with this, the first piece of footage from the new Wii version due later this year.

Promising "new game modes, characters and gameplay depth," NBA Jam is being developed by EA Canada--the past works of which include NBA Live and NBA Street.

The music and the presentation in the trailer was not good. It looks like there could be a fun game there. Seems like they may be keeping the hip hop music approach from 'ballaz' and the Midway spiritual sequels to jam/hangtime.

Have to wait for an actual gameplay video to see what direction the in game presentation will take...

This looks awesome! I always thought NBA Street was a very fun and underrated game. I think the simplicity of this game is it's best quality. Wish it was for XBLA however...

This is pretty bad from this video. They can't take a 90's arcade game and make it extremely smooth in 2010 then they should just close up shop. From looking at this vid, I rather play the original Arcade over this.
