Brink Cinematic Trailer Will Blow You Away

A new cinematic Brink trailer by CGI wizards Blur might not be representative of Enemy Territory developer Splash Damage's latest class-based shooter but it is very attractive.

Brink is scheduled for a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release this fall, published by Bethesda. To see the actual game, check out last year's trio of gameplay trailers.

I liked the trailer. It seems consistent with a lot of what they're trying to emphasize in gameplay, actually.

- Cartoonish style for visuals, movement, fast paced action
- Variety/customizable of appearances for soldiers on both factions
- So called "SMART" system acrobatics to cross terrain
- Class archetypes, the contrast between the sniper, light recon guy, the heavy gunner, covert

Looking forward to this game a lot, based on SD's past work.

when will people stop making trailers like this. it sure doesn't make me want to buy a game.. Thats not what i would be playing.. Show me GREAT gameplay trailers and I am sold. While this is cool to watch, to me, it doesn't help sell the game.

Exciting. :)

Also uninformative. But they have put out a *lot* of fairly detailed gameplay vids already (far more than we usually get this early on), so they have earned the right to show off some cinematic stuff.

I saw Brink at E3 last year and was blown away. This is a game I'm HEAVILY anticipating. Think Team Fortress 2 with a brain.

Team Fortress 2 meets borderlands?

I saw the heavy, scout, spy, demo/soldier? in there many some more classes from TF2.
There is suppose to be XP and co-op up to 8 players says wikipedia. Looks interesting none the less.

Good to see Splash Damage release an original IP for once.
