Paid Mass Effect 2 DLC Arrives April 6
by Chris Faylor, Mar 11, 2010 3:40pm PSTHaving previously said that not all of Mass Effect 2 downloadable add-ons would be free, developer BioWare has informed Joystiq that the first paid bit of DLC will hit April 6.
According to the site, the add-on, "Kasumi's Stolen Memory," brings another party member to the sci-fi shooter-RPG, along with the Locust SMG weapon, a "flash-bang grenade loyalty power," and a new mission said to last "about an hour and a half."
As for how much PC and Xbox 360 players will need to pay for the content, BioWare has yet to decide, noting that it's still engaged in "internal discussion" on the matter.

(Zuko Field Trip is mean to be a clever reference to Avatar: The Last Airbender to represent the Loyalty missions in ME2)

As for playing through multiple times, I'm still not bored on my 3rd playthrough. In fact, I long for it even more since I started playing FFXIII. You don't realise just how good WRPGs have come along till you play FFXIII and can't help but notice that the facial animation and story dialogue is not up to the same bar.
Which makes you wonder... will extra DLC come out for free on FFXIII? Will even paid DLC come out for it? I think this is where we should be grateful to developers and publishers like Bioware and EA for continuing support well after the game has been out.
