Shack PSA: Gyromancer and Mini Ninjas Deals

3
And lo, on the fourth day, Steam said: "Let there be massive savings on Gyromancer PC and Mini Ninjas PC, for it is Square Enix and Eidos Publisher Week." And so it was.

But for all Steam giveth, the digital distribution platform also taketh away--as with this week's other deals, the prices are only good until 8 AM PST on the following day (in other words, Friday)--so if thou covets either a family-friendly action-adventure from the makers of Hitman or Square and PopCap's Bejeweled RPG, thou shalt probably get a move on.

How does it compare to Puzzlequest?

Don't know to be honest, never played Puzzlequest.
Gyromancer is a turn-based bejeweled twist with a bunch of nice effects, artwork and boss-time metal music.
Oh, and there's a monster collecting thing, too. Along with leveling up and collecting some items. The typical RPG stuff.

It's pretty fun if you like puzzle games, but it's kinda easy though. I'm 4 hours in and haven't had any real challenges, probably because I always pick the most hardcore monster and kill everything for grind.

Demo wasnt as good. Its got some nice artwork, but didn't feel like as deep of a game. And I looved me some puzzle quest. Gyro seems decent though. Not bad at $7.50
