Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Trailer Introduces The Disciples

Man, you know you're in trouble when the Darkspawn are smart enough to effectively assault a castle. Meet The Disciples, a group of Darkspawn led by a talking Hurlock, who will probably end up being a party member at some point (speculation).

Priced at $40, almost as much as a full game, I'm very interested to know how many hours of real content this includes. DA:O could easily have 60-80 hours on a first play-through.

that's around 22 at least. this is in europe though, but I think it shouldn't be so much more expensive in the US...

Well it's priced 39.99 on the NA Steam store...

I loved DA, but I'm waiting for this to go on sale.

An interview in PC Gamer said that it has somewhere between 15-20 hours.

I logged something like 100 hours+ my first time through - reading every line of dialog and doing every possible side quest I could find.

I'm interested as well on how many hours in the expansion. If it's not at least 50 I'll hold out for it to drop in price. Great game - but not great enough to be worth a monetary rape job for a 20 hour expansion pack.

I only managed 75 hours, but I couldn't bring myself to go back and finish the "deliver notices" quests that I'd gotten at the beginning of the game.

This month's issue of PC Gamer there is an interview where they said it is 10-15 hours for main quest, and up to 20 hours for completionists.
