Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Trailer Has Gameplay, Talking Developers

A "first-look gameplay video" of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands has arrived from Ubisoft, offering an in-game look at the impending acrobatic action-adventure.

According to Ubisoft, all versions of the game--PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP--are slated to hit on May 18, just before the film hits theaters. However, various retailers are still listing the PC version for a later release on June 1.

Not interested in this game remotely. It's going to be a pander-fest to all the people who whined incessantly over the last game not being a rehash, and those titles never turn out well. The last Prince design was *so* much better too, and I'm too attached to it now to see another Prince as the same character, especially not this super-bland new one.

This is a horrible game series.

All the routes are pre-planned and you can barely miss a jump because the prince always "hooks" onto wherever you're trying to go.

They need to learn from Ico/SotC. Those have the right mix of making the climbing feel dynamic, but not really being.

I guess I'm the only person who actually liked the last Prince of Persia game. It seems like they're just leeching off the popularity of the Sands of Time trilogy by changing as little as they possibly can. Not saying it's a terrible thing since the Sands of Time trilogy was really awesome, but it does come off as a rehash.

What's the deal with all these trailers showing off talking developers anyway? I want to see the game, not some random dude talking about the game! Half the time, I find myself skipping past these talking developers to check out the game. They usually have about 10 seconds or less of actual gameplay footage, however, so most of the time it's a lost cause.

Yes! Finally Yes! The Real Prince of Persia 4 is coming! This game looks like gonna rock! The water freezing thing looks promesing. Everything is same but more realistic and of course a diffirent story. That was what we wanted from back then. Hope they will use arabic-metal mixed music in the game, just like in Warrior Within :P
