No More Heroes Creator Suda-51 Interested in Natal and Sony Motion
by Brian Leahy, Mar 04, 2010 4:00pm PSTJapanese game developer Goichi Suda (aka "Suda-51"), creator of No More Heroes (Wii), has expressed interest in an interview with GameSpot UK in creating games designed around Microsoft's Project Natal and Sony's unnamed motion controller.
Instead of porting No More Heroes to the new control schemes, Suda "will make some original [intellectual property] to fit that control system." No More Heroes was designed specifically around the Wii Remote through Suda's experimentation with the control method.
Interestingly, this isn't stopping the original No More Heroes from being released (sans motion-control) on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, at least in Japan.
Slowly, but surely, third-party developers have been pledging support for the two new motion schemes. Suda's Grasshopper Manufacture joins the ranks of Electronic Arts, Capcom, and Ubisoft.
