RUSE PC Beta Open to All on March 9
by Chris Faylor, Mar 03, 2010 10:00am PSTA public PC beta of Eugen's "one of a kind" strategy game R.U.S.E. will be available to all next Tuesday--March 9, 2010--through Valve's digital distribution platform Steam.
"Everyone is invited to play," publisher Ubisoft explained via its amusingly named UbiLeak Twitter. "All you need is a Steam account."
Word of the open beta was accompanied by a new trailer that examines the changes made since the last multiplayer beta. As for the final retail version of R.U.S.E.--headed to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360--it's now slated to arrive circa June 3, 2010.

I would say "mod it in" but given Ubisoft's previous indifference or pure contempt for modifying their games (I wanted to try changing a weapon in Far Cry 2 but it's wrapped up in a proprietary archive file format and only identified by the CRC32 of each object's internal path), that seems unlikely.
