Coming from SlideToPlay, details have emerged for the upcoming iPhone version of Street Fighter 4, including the game's roster, modes, and pricing. The title will include a requisite Tournament mode, pitting players against an increasingly difficult set of opponents, as well as challenges in the game's "Dojo" mode.

For the price of $9.99, your playable roster will be: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Abel, and M. Bison.

That's all well and good, but how does it look in motion? Like this:

You can read SlideToPlay's full preview for more information including their opinion on how the game actually controls. The game should hit the App Store in March 2010.

I have the sound off here at work but... that doesn't look bad.

Looks like Street Fighter II using Street Fighter IV's graphics. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the nuances of all those games but it looks like it could work, provided the control isn't a nightmare.

Competitive players would bite somebodies neck for these controls. Even the PSPs controls weren't really optimal, and that thing has real buttons.

And yeah, to the graphics: In this port the backgrounds are static.

@Johnnsen there is no way those controls are comfortable!!! Competitive gamers need to see the screen to play... God I hate the iphone.

This port is hardly made with competition in mind.

Looks very playable to me, though in a very, very casual way.
