The Xbox 360 port of ACE Team's excellent Zeno Clash will feature more than new attacks and co-op for the challenge levels, a new trailer reveals, there'll also be a smattering of new weapons for the surreal first-person face-puncher.

Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition is slated to hit Xbox Live Arcade on March 30.

It's still unclear whether the improvements will also be added to the original PC version. ACE Team is also currently developing Zeno Clash 2, which is due to introduce "open ended gameplay with large explorable environments and RPG elements."

How can anybody possibly like this game?

It has its ups and downs: sure, the melee system is way too overrated (just spam the power punch and the block-sideways jab and you're good to go) and the gunplay is a huge cluster-F, not to mention the "story" if you can call it that, but the game has a few neat ideas that make it worth a try.

It seems to me like a game that tries new ideas and is inexpensive so that works for it.

But I think it probably won't do too well on the 360, especially with the higher pricetag I'm sure they'll have to sport

It's an inexpensive game for pc, 15$ on steam and often on sale. You should try it as it's fun.

Because the combat feels extremely satisfying, the game world and art style are extremely unique, the story is strange and intriguing - and the whole experience is pretty well-paced, with just enough non-melee stuff.

Not every game needs to be MW2.
