Welp, I'm sold. I always thinki that 'Nah, these Total War games just aren't for me. I'm just not into the whole tactical warfare bit.' and then I see a trailer like this and I just have to buy it.

Personally, I hope they come out with a Shogun: Total War remake/sequel.

I miss Rome... That was probably their best. Didn't like their last one too much, but this is certainly looking pretty good.

Medieval (1) was the best. That was back when the AI actually made some smart decisions on the battlefield and campaign, units were responsive, and the game could be run smoothly on most machines at the time without crashing to desktop. I really wish they'd stop focusing so much on graphical upgrades, and focus a little more on making the engine stable and more scalable - not to mention AI. I barely got past the Tutorial/prologue of Empire before putting it away due to bugs, and just generally getting bored. Disappointing.

I must say the multiplayer drop-in feature sounds awesome though. Still, I think I'll wait and see the Shack consensus.

Yeah, a Shogun 2 Total War would be awesome, especially with an expanded campaign map to include Korea and China.

But the thought of Rome 2 Total War is what really makes my mouth water...
