Resonance of Fate Release Date Announced

The next action-RPG from Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile developer tri-Ace, Resonance of Fate will hit North America on March 16--that's the week after role-playing powerhouse Final Fantasy XIII hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360--publisher SEGA has confirmed.

Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch simultaneously, with SEGA promising more details on the "John Woo'esque RPG in the weeks leading to launch."

And Sega proves once again that they just don't fucking get it.

I realize not everyone is an FF fan, but really? Releasing the next RPG from one of the most inconsistent developers with almost no hype or marketing a *WEEK* after the hotly anticipated sequel to one of the best selling series of all time? I don't get it.

i am SO excited about this game. yes, i'm going to play ff13, but ROF looks like something new and fresh. from all the import impressions and video i've seen it just looks so cool. i'm almost more excited for this over final fantasy. almost
