Darksiders Demo Coming to Consoles Next Week, Offering 90 Minutes of Gameplay
by Chris Faylor, Feb 16, 2010 12:10pm PSTAn "extensive demo" spanning the entirety of Darskider's first dungeon will be downloadable on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 come February 25, THQ has revealed.
"Rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game," explained David Adams, general manager of THQ-owned developer Vigil Games, with the company noting "the demo will take approximately 90 minutes to complete."
Released in early January on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the apocalyptic action-RPG sold well enough to be among the month's twenty top-selling retail games in the US. A sequel has long been planned and is expected between March 2011 and April 2012.

Damn though, this is gonna be a long download (Playstation network - where my PS3 has like, 22% signal strength...)
I've been excited to try this game for a bit! I forget how long I played the Dante's Inferno demo, but that was great. Just not even remotely close to $70 of greatness...
Cheers
