Command and Conquer 4 Developer Diary Shows Class Warfare

by Jeff Mattas, Feb 12, 2010 3:20pm PST

Offense. Defense. Support. The latest single-player-focused developer diary for EA's Command and Conquer 4 - Tiberian Twilight explains how the latest chapter in the RTS-warfare series implements a class-based system, allowing players to approach the game's battles using a variety of different strategies.

Player progression is set up to allow players to easily switch between the game's different class types to try out different abilities and tactics. The game's developers also discuss how both the GDI and NOD will give players a unique perspective on the events of the story as they unfold.

Command and Conquer 4 - Tiberian Twilight is due out for PC on March 16.

  • CNC is dead , finally. EA needs to die next. anyways, enough of EA bashing, I just want a new developer / talent, to pickup where CNC Generals / Zero Hour left off, and build on that.

    EA, stay the fuck away.

RA3 I bought it, looked at the skill tree / promotional tree, and borrowed The Futures' Toilet brush and rammed it down my own throat too, to make me feel better about myself, and forget the 30 minute gameplay experience I just witnessed there.

CNC4, will laugh with all CNC vets at that one, and go out for a beer on that one.

please, anyone out there, lets start a game develpment company, and make a new proper CNC like game.

OH have I already said, FU EA?
