A new Aliens vs. Predator gameplay trailer gives a look at the xenomorph campaign, following similar trailers showing marine and predator singleplayer action.

Developed by Rebellion--responsible for the first PC AvP from 1999--and published by Sega, Aliens vs. Predator is in the pipe, five by five for a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 launch on February 16. A deathmatch-only demo is out now for all three platforms.

I'm sorry but the level design just seems really lazy. throw a few corridors in with high ceilings to cling to. some darkness. viola

do you guys think preordering it is worth it?

I probably won't play Universe at war, and I don't really care about the 3 skins...is there any other reason to preorder?

I also noticed, the trailer here says feb 19th... but Steam says the 16th...? is it an early release for preorder as well?

Almost gave up on the game, which I hated the prospect of having to do, but then I got rid of most of the mouselag. The game as such is shaping up nicely.

I'm looking forward to it. The demo was quite entertaining, although I didn't really appreciate that particular level design. Other than that, the gameplay fundamentals kept true to the AvP formula of old. I really, really like it.

Can't wait for this to get released next week. Been having a blast in the demo and it will be nice getting into the other modes. FFA DM is a horrible game mode. Hope to see you kiddies in there :)
