Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Trailer Teases Tech

By Alice O'Connor, Feb 10, 2010 5:52am PST In case yesterday's barebones announcement of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier left you a little uncertain as what to expect from the latest in the tactical shooter series, publisher Ubisoft has released a teaser trailer which... doesn't explain much.

Explaining that "technology evolves, threats evolve and yet war is constant"--a little less snappy than Fallout's "War. War never changes."--the trailer reveals fancy tech including adaptive camouflage and shows flashes of locations all over the globe.

A multiplayer beta will run this summer, with access granted "for a limited time" to those who buy Splinter Cell: Conviction--which hits Xbox360 on April 13.

Developed by Ubisoft Paris, Future Soldier is slated for the 2010 holiday season and will hit PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP and DS. It's not entirely clear if all versions will arrive at this time, as Ubisoft has said it "will tell more about the PC version later."
