Red Dead Redemption Screenshots Rope 'em in

New Red Dead Redemption screenshots give a look at the many uses of the lasso in Rockstar San Diego's open-world wild western, from roping wild horses when you need a ride to hog-tieing hoodlums so you can safely cash in lucrative live bounties.

Red Dead Redemption arrives on April 27 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Rockstar San Diego recently faced accusations of working staff ridiculously hard, though a response from the developer was quite dismissive of the "opinions of a few anonymous posters."

I really hope this is good. I haven't bought a Western game since Outlaws and I want this to be great.

  I LOVED Outlaws. I've even got the soundtrack on my iPod. You should give Call of Juarez a try, it's not that bad.

      The idea of Gun was fun. Sadly it was poorly executed.

    I liked Call of Juarez - they tried to do something different with the FPS genre. The mountain climbing level was especially cool.
