Order of War Expansion Priced and Dated

3
Following the recent revelation of a standalone expansion for its strategy game Order of War (PC), developer Wargaming.net has now confirmed pricing and release details.

A Steam-exclusive download, Order of War: Challenge will hit the digital distribution platform February 25. Those that own the original Order of War will get the expansion free--everyone else will see a price tag of $9.99.

Twelve new maps and six new multiplayer modes will be included in the multiplayer-centric release, with three playable factions: USA, Germany and Soviet Union.

That's a little confusing, so the expansion is only on Steam no matter what, but if you have the retail copy you will get the Steam add-on for free. Does that mean people with the Steam copy of the original will pay $10, or is the new price going to be $10 for original+expansion? It's difficult to follow.

      ...

Everyone who owns it gets it for free. It might've been a steam exclusive to begin with, I dunno.

10 bucks if you buy it standalone.

If you have the original, regardless of how you bought it, the add-on will be a free download on Steam.
