Dark Void 'Survival' DLC Due Next Week
Priced at 400 Microsoft Points ($5), the add-on is said to recreate "key events" from the game in an "arcade-esque experience where the player battles through hoards of enemies on the ground and in the air while collecting points and upgrading weaponry, with the goal being to survive to Round 10."
The downlodable content will hit Xbox 360 on February 10 (Wednesday) and PlayStation 3 come February 11 (Thursday). No word yet on PC DLC--we'll keep you updated.

DLCs have become the norm for almost all games. I've gotta say, I've never bought a DLC before. I always wait for the "Complete" edition so to speak. I prefer expansion packs, just like it used to be back in the days of great PC gaming. No I'm not saying PC gaming is dying, but clearly consoles have taken over as the main gaming platforms, and me being an old school PC gamer, it is a shame. Anyway, enough rambling.

the worst thing is, in a lot of cases, the pc versions never get the DLC in *any* form (or decent patch support, or support of any kind)... its gotten to where i wont hardly buy a multi-platform game for the pc for at least 6 months, until i know its not going to be a buggy piece of shit, is going to receive ongoing support and, when provided, get the same DLC...
