Forza 3 'Community Choice' DLC Voting Begins

8
Forza Motorsport 3 developer Turn 10 has joined forces with Gawker-owned automotive enthusiast blog Jalopnik, allowing fans to help select nine of the vehicles to be added to the Xbox 360 exclusive racer over the summer.

Encompassing a total of 120 possible additions, the voting runs from January 25 through January 29, with the various selections broken down into multiple rounds and groups.

Once the voting is concluded, a list of the fifteen most popular choices will be published and presented to Turn 10, which will then whittle the list down to nine based off real-world availability. These nine, along with a tenth car chosen by the Jalopnik staff, will then be released as the "Jalopnik Community Choice Car Pack" during the summer.

However, Forza 3 players won't have to wait that long for in-game Jalopnik, as a second add-on pack, dubbed the "Jalopnik Car Pack," is due in March, packing "some of the most coveted 2009 and 2010 models" as chosen by the site's editors and Turn 10.

Hmm mostly supercars of the classic mold it looks like. Many kinda lame choices too. Ford Taurus anyone? If they wanna keep stickin it to GT5 then now need an ST-86. And so do I.

And because I love to reply to my own posts (someone has too) if I was to put together a pack it would be the Bond Car Compendium, moonraker shuttle optional :)

Do you know anything about cars? Talking down that generation of SHO with one of the most beautiful V6's of all time (http://www.danvm.com/dan/car/images/shov6.jpg) is kind of calling yourself out.

Yeah, that yamahopper engine was sweet until the timing gears went all loose and they ate themselves. I guess a virtual version wouldn't have that problem but still not great track performance even if that is the SHO version. Looks like a stock front clip.

Yeah, if we were worried about the RL foibles of the cars, half of our favorites in the game would spend half the time broken down in the 'Garage' screen.

Actually that reminds me, where are the BMW 8-series!?

OK now that got a lol. True true. And I didn't see you could click their collage to see the individual cars. You were right, 89 SHO. Still not exciting enough to pay for if you ask me.
