Just Cause 2 Trailer Details Free Pre-Order DLC

As is becoming more and more common these days, those that pre-order Just Cause 2 from certain retailers will net free downloadable content for Avalance's over-the-top action game when it's released in PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 form on March 23.

And while it's one thing to read about the various add-ons--Agency Hovercraft, Rico's Signature Gun, Bull's Eye Assault Rifle, Chevalier Classic, Chaos Parachute--it's quite another thing to actually see them in motion. Thus, the following trailer:

I love sandbox games that don't take themselves seriously, or at least have a lot of mayhem in them. I'd say some of the most fun I had gaming in the last year was with Saint's Row 2 and Prototype. The media for Just Cause 2 looks like the game will be amazingly fun, just for all the mayhem and craziness you can pull off, but the one big thing this game has working against it is Just Cause 1. That game was so rough. I'm hopeful that they've massively improved little gameplay and control elements. A demo will make or break this game for me.

Some of the sound bytes at the end of the clip are from games I played in the 90's. I noticed a few that played in Carmageddon from the pedestrians.

I really wish this shit would stop.

Looks like Gamestop is pistol, Amazon is rifle. Neither Target nor Walmart mention which offers which. That also leaves one piece unaccounted for.
