Tony Hawk Tweet Reveals Next Project with Ride Developer Robomodo

In a recent eyebrow-raising tweet, skateboard legend Tony Hawk mentions meeting with RIDE developer Robomodo about his next game.

@tonyhawk: Just met with @robomodo about our next project and it's already much better than I expected. Details soon. Chicago is not warm.

Back in June of last year, we reported that Robomodo viewed the new skateboard controller packaged with Tony Hawk: RIDE as more of a "platform" than a "peripheral," stating that they had already planned to develop other games that would utilize it.

While that laid the foundation for more games, RIDE didn't exactly demonstrate that it was one worth building on. After its lackluster sales and reviews, it's a bit surprising to hear that the wheels are already turning on another. If at first you don't succeed...
