First TrackMania Wii Screenshots Arrive

With the TrackMania series now en route to Wii, publisher Focus Home Interactive has released the first screenshots of the latest from TrackMania DS developer Firebrand.

As with past entries in the Nadeo-created arcade racing franchise, TrackMania Wii will pack an obscene amount of tracks--more than 200--a variety of multiplayer modes, including online, plus the ability for players to create and share custom tracks.

No word as to when exactly TrackMania Wii is due. Nadeo, meanwhile, is crafting the long-awaited proper sequel TrackMania 2, which is due on PC sometime this year.

Man, why in the hell is this not on 360 yet? I don't get it. Perfect candidate for XBLA.

This is a perfect candidate for a online game on consoles. I wonder why they won't put out for it. I forgot how addicting the first one is. And it was free nonetheless, unless you wanted all the extras.
