Final Fantasy 1 & 2 Heading to iPhone, Tarted Up
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 21, 2010 7:00am PSTThe first two entries in Square's much-beloved Final Fantasy series are headed to the iPhone with revamped graphics, Square Enix has announced via Facebook.

Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II in their iPhone finery.Final Fantasy II is the original Japanese title--not to be confused with the game released in North America under the name Final Fantasy II, which was in fact Final Fantasy IV.
Square Enix has yet to reveal release dates or prices but says to "stay tuned!"

if you like classic JRPGs I recommend playing it with having a walkthrough handy because some of the "puzzles" (like, where you have to go next) are completely arbitrary and from a time when it was a good design idea to let the player guess what to do. but then if you like JRPGs, you probably have played FF already anyway.
Part 2 though on the other hand was horrible IMO, mostly because of the weird character system.
