It's been a while coming but we've got some new screenshots and a trailer for 'Rise of the Godslayer,' the first expansion for Funcom's low-fantasy MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.

Set in the eastern empire of Khitai and including a new playable race - the Khitan - 'Rise of the Godslayer' includes a new story and missions, player mounts (like a Tiger), in addition to new grassland, desert, and jungle locations. The expansion also includes content appropriate to, "several level ranges," including a, "wide variety of new low-level content" for fresh characters.

You'll need an 'Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures' account to play 'Rise of the Godslayer' when it comes out, though a release date has yet to be announced.

New content is always a good thing of course but they've yet to prove the game is at a state they hyped up before the launch.

      To those still playing:

Is crafting a viable career path?
Are healers still overpowered for PvP?
Are Necros a viable PvP class?
Are siege cities still prone to lag and crashing?
Are end-game instances still bugged to hell?
      Can you do mounted combat?
Is there a pub fight mini-game?
