Risen Rising to Xbox 360 in February

The belated Xbox 360 edition of Piranha Bytes' action-RPG Risen will hit North America in February, publisher Deep Silver revealed today alongside some new screenshots.

Originally slated to premiere alongside its PC brethren, the Xbox 360 iteration of the open-world game was pushed to early 2010 just weeks before its planned October 2 release--a target the PC version hit, amassing generally positive reviews.

Should you be up for checking it out, we've got a 1.10GB PC demo on FileShack.

Just get this awesome game for the PC. Forget the console port.

I'm waiting for idiotic responses that deal with How it's either too expensive to have a decent PC or that they stopped PC gaming because they got tired of tweaking their quantum harmonizer on their PC.

Action RPG I guess based on the demo. Didn't seem too bad although the combat didn't seem that great.

The combat is odd. It works, sometimes well, but you will suck at it for many hours.

As you unlock abilities, you unlock them in *yourself* as well. Your skill progression matches your character's. It's all odd.

Yeah, it's called a REAL COMBAT SYSTEM.

As opposed to just, you know, hack and slash.
