As reported a couple of days ago, the latest entry in Polyphony Digital's highly anticipated racing simulator, Gran Turismo 5, has slipped from its March 2010 release date to some unannounced time in the future. This recent delay hasn't prevented some shiny new screenshots and a trailer showcasing the Toyota FT-86 concept car from hitting the open road.

Those who can't wait to get their hands on the game can still download the free "Time-Trial Demo" from the PlayStation Network and take the Nissan 370Z for a spin around the track. Just keep in mind, the demo will only be available to download until January 25th.
