Just Cause 2 Trailer: Choose Your Own Adventure
by Chris Faylor, Jan 15, 2010 2:40pm PSTCombining the magic of branching video and streaming technology, this "multi-path" Just Cause 2 trailer is meant to highlight the various options and approaches available in the action game, including air strikes, guns blazing, stealth, and, yes, the scenic route.
Sure, whatever option you choose is likely to open in a new window, but as it's not hitting PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 until March 26, it's the closest you're going to get for a while.

Playing Saints Row 2 and Mercenaries 2 on the PC with a friend made for some utterly hilarious times. The bugginess of both games made it even better in ways that would have been detrimental when playing it alone. You can tolerate unfair deaths a lot more when a buddy is there to revive you.
I've been playing Red Faction: Guerilla recently. I've only gotten up to Oasis sector and I'm finding it difficult to continue. It's a bit frustrating since the game seems to run much faster for me than the gameplay videos I've seen. Combined with the AI spawning in large groups and Alec Mason being stupidly vulnerable to gunfire, it's hard to choke down. I probably would tolerate those aspects of the game a lot more if there was coop in the main campaign, just so someone else could suffer along with me.
1. If you arrive at the base by air SAMs will shoot you down, so you have to continue on foot.
2. There is no stealth, killing one guy alerts the whole base. AI always knows where you are.
3. You have to destroy four big air vents to get the next objective, no other ways.
4. There isn't an additional car or helicopter near as they are getting away, so jumping is your only option.
5. Destroying extra cars seems fun, but you don't have the time to save her anymore.
So basicly all you have left is marching in there as a one man army and destroy/kill everything in sight. Still fun though, but they shouldn't advertise for something that it's not.
